II. Product Introduction
Xi'an Hongding Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Hongding Energy HONDIN) produces horizontal screw discharge sedimentation centrifuges (drilling fluid centrifuges) for the separation and clarification of suspensions containing solid particles with a particle size d ≥ 2 μm, a solid concentration of 2–70%, and a liquid viscosity υ ≤ 0.01 Pa•s. It is also suitable for separating amorphous materials that are difficult to regenerate filter cloth and suspensions with a large range of solid concentration variations. Applications include petroleum, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and environmental protection fields requiring solid-liquid separation. It can complete solid dehydration, liquid clarification, liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation, and particle size classification.
Hongding Energy's LW series horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge (drilling fluid centrifuge) is a solid-liquid separation device designed specifically for the characteristics of oil drilling fluid. It can complete various processes such as feeding, centrifugal sedimentation, and unloading at full speed. It is mainly used to recover barite, remove fine solids, reduce the solid content of drilling fluid, control the density and viscosity of drilling fluid, and ensure the performance of drilling fluid. It also plays an important role in rapid drilling.

IV. Features of Centrifuges:

The main motor drives the drum and the differential housing through the belt, and the auxiliary motor drives the screw propeller after the differential speed is changed. In this way, the drum and the screw propeller rotate in the same direction and have a certain differential speed.
When the material enters the inner cylinder of the screw propeller from the feed pipe, due to the high-speed rotation, the material flows to the drum wall through the discharge port. The light and heavy phases of the material are subjected to different centrifugal forces. The heavy phase is quickly deposited on the inner wall of the drum, while the light phase is
slowly attached to the surface of the heavy phase, forming a layer of interface between the light and heavy phases. As the heavy phase deposition increases, the top of the spiral blade enters the heavy phase deposition layer. At this time, the drum and the screw propeller are rotating at high speed in the same direction, and there is a certain difference.
This relative differential speed causes the heavy phase particles to move to the small end discharge port, while the light phase liquid forms a channel through the spiral and flows to the liquid phase outlet. The position of the liquid phase overflow port is controlled by the adjustment plate.
